Drones

This are some first concepts for a military drone, I did for a web series.

The series is taking place in a dystopian regime called Scorpion City.
The director wanted a bit more of a friendly, but still military regime looking drone, so the shape with its roundness should fool the viewer at first, that it is in fact not as hostile looking as its intended functions are.

The progress was first to create some thumbnails out of 3D blockings I created and overpainted quickly.
I then painted the version the director liked most to a more realistic level, so it can be modeled in 3D.
